Mrs Le Thi Ket gave birth to Do Duy Nguyen at Tu Du Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Because of the war and living in poverty, she was not able to take care of the baby. After giving birth, one week later she decided to put Do Duy Nguyen into the Chua Cuu The Orphanage. Before April 30, 1975 Do Duy Nguyen was on the Babylift Operation. Mrs Le Thi Ket's only wish in life is to be able to meet her son Do Duy Nguyen.
